Accessibility Statement
NoMatch is committed to making nomatch416.com usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. As a Toronto-based business, we aim to meet the intent of Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a practical baseline.
What this site does to support accessibility
- Semantic HTML5 structure, so headings, navigation, and page regions are identifiable to assistive technology
- Visible keyboard focus states on every interactive element, including links, buttons, and the FAQ accordions
- Alt text on all meaningful images
- Color contrast checked against the dark background and orange accent used throughout the site
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system, which disables non-essential animation
Known limitations
The embedded Spotify player on the homepage is controlled by Spotify, not by this site, and its accessibility depends on Spotify's own embed rather than anything we can directly modify.
Reporting an accessibility barrier
If you run into anything on this site that's difficult to use with a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology, email Nomatchmusic@gmail.com with a description of the issue and the page it happened on. Reports like this are the fastest way for a small, actively maintained site to actually get fixed.
Note: this statement reflects a good-faith effort at accessibility, not a formal audit. If AODA compliance becomes a legal requirement for this business specifically, a full third-party accessibility audit is worth commissioning separately.
