Booking Policy

Flagged for review: the source brief for this site didn't specify exact deposit percentages or cancellation windows. The terms below are reasonable, common defaults for a small independent artist business, written so the page isn't blank, but they should be confirmed (and adjusted if needed) before being treated as final, and ideally reviewed by a lawyer alongside the Terms & Conditions.

Songwriting bookings

Songwriting jobs (chorus-only through full song) are confirmed once scope and price are agreed by email. Payment is due 50% upfront to begin work and 50% on delivery of the final draft. Revisions discussed as part of the original scope are included; requests that go beyond the original brief may be quoted separately.

Artist development bookings

The $1,000 artist development program is payable 50% to begin the first session and 50% partway through the program, timed to when direction work is substantially underway. If the program is cancelled partway through by the client, the initial deposit is non-refundable, covering sessions already delivered.

Music consulting bookings

The $150 consulting session is payable in full at the time of booking to confirm the time slot. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable, since that slot cannot typically be rebooked on short notice.

Live performance bookings

Live bookings require a 50% deposit to hold the date, with the remaining balance due on or before the day of the performance.

• Cancellation by the client, 14+ days before the event: deposit is refunded in full.
• Cancellation by the client, within 14 days of the event: deposit is forfeited, since the date is held exclusively and is unlikely to be rebooked on short notice.
• Cancellation or rescheduling by NoMatch: any deposit or payment already made is refunded in full, or applied to a rescheduled date if preferred.
• Rescheduling by the client: one reschedule is accommodated at no extra charge with at least 7 days' notice, subject to availability.

General

All bookings are confirmed by email once scope, price, and (for live dates) the event details are agreed. Verbal or informal arrangements aren't treated as confirmed until reflected in writing.
